PURPLERISE is a new-generation fencing brand from Asia, built with a global perspective. We combine premium materials, advanced manufacturing in Asia, and European standards to create professional-grade fencing equipment trusted by athletes, clubs, and fencing families worldwide. Based in Hong Kong, with design in Bangkok and R&D in Beijing, PURPLERISE works closely with expert factories and testing partners across Europe and Asia. Our global network supports the full product cycle — from design and engineering to testing, production, and delivery. Powered by FBT’s technical capabilities, PURPLERISE has established a highly controlled blade development and production system. To our knowledge, we are currently the only manufacturer in China capable of producing maraging fencing blades that meet the key FIE technical requirements in chemical composition, hardness, and microstructure — ensuring consistent performance, durability, and stability. Our team brings together professional fencing experience and product leadership from leading technology companies including Microsoft, Baidu, Tencent, and Sina. By combining sports insight with product thinking, we continuously improve fencing equipment in structure, safety, comfort, and design. From anodized guards, precision tips, ergonomic grips, and proprietary conductive fabrics to premium fencing apparel developed with European partners, PURPLERISE is building a distinctive product system for the next generation of fencers. We believe great fencing equipment should be reliable, beautiful, and accessible.
Our Team
Our team comes from Baidu, Tencent, Microsoft, and PwC, with expertise in R&D, product design, business, and operations. Among us are retired fencers who bring firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the sport. At PURPLERISE, we place safety and quality above everything else. We do not pursue low-cost products without reliable quality. Instead, we focus on high-quality equipment that athletes can trust.
